More Art on the Dark Sky T’Railway

This is a spot known as the Pump House in the Municipality of Barrington in Upper Wood’s Harbour. It pumps industrial water to various fish plants in the area. And it’s gotten an artistic upgrade thanks to the amazing talent of artist Danielle Mahood. Wonderful job Danielle!

The Western REN is seeking bids for the Get Side-Tracked Trail Washroom Project – covering three locations:
- Barrington Passage
- Clare (Saulnierville Station)
- Smith Cove
Contractors can bid on one site or all three.

LIP Launches Community Surveys

The Western REN’s Local Immigration Partnership (LIP) is developing a new three-year strategic plan — and we need your input.
Three surveys are now open: one for newcomers and immigrants, one for employers, and one for the broader community. Your responses will help create strategies to support newcomers, strengthen our workforce, and make Western Nova Scotia a more welcoming region.
