The Western Regional Enterprise Network worked with local municipalities and organizations to create this resource for new residents in the region.

Yarmouth, NS- The Western Regional Enterprise Network (Western REN), in partnership with funders, local municipalities, and organizations, created this guide as a resource to help newcomers navigate our region.

 

The ‘Welcome to Western Nova Scotia’ guide is an all-encompassing guide to living in the region for those considering moving to our communities, and those who have recently moved here. It takes readers through the need to knows, including housing, healthcare, child-care, education, volunteering, museums, and activities to check out within the region.

 

“This is to be a resource for businesses and organizations to help new employees learn about services and opportunities within our communities,” said Angelique LeBlanc, CEO of Western REN. “We are very excited about this guide and how it will become an important piece for the Local Immigration Partnership and Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program.”
