Western REN Seeks Videographer for Skilled Trades Pipeline Project
The Western Regional Enterprise Network is inviting expressions of interest from videographers to support the Skilled Trades Talent Pipeline initiative in Western Nova Scotia.
Since May 5th, Western REN has been inviting videographers to get involved in this exciting project. The initiative aims to showcase skilled trades opportunities across the region and connect local employers with international talent through compelling visual storytelling.
This project will focus on capturing authentic, day-in-the-life workplace experiences within the skilled trades sector. Filming may take place across Digby, Clare, Yarmouth, Argyle, and Barrington a, highlighting real people, real jobs, and the essential work happening in our communities.
The selected videographer will be responsible for:
- Filming and editing two short workplace videos
- Capturing authentic moments in active job sites
- Producing clean, engaging content for web and social media use
Western REN is seeking a videographer who:
- Has experience creating workplace or employer-focused video content
- Is comfortable working in industrial or hands-on environments
- Demonstrates the ability to tell compelling, human-centered stories
- Can deliver high-quality, professional edits
Videographers interested in participating are invited to submit a short introduction and a link to their portfolio. Selected candidates will be invited to a follow-up session to discuss the project scope and provide a quote.
